Thoughts that I've had for improving the AniMateXL add-in are:

• Get it to add some buttons to an Excel 2007 Ribbon,
• Adopt some kind of convention so that I can animate the chart title,
• Write an export routine so that when you've found some data that animates nicely, you can get it into PowerPoint or the web nice and easily,
• Write an equivalent add-in for PowerPoint.

Please use this forum to let me know if you have a better idea!

I have to say the tool is great - it is very easy to use it. You mentioned in your suggestions export possibility to PPT - it would be also nice, if there is an easy way how to export it into an animated image (like the ones you are using on this page).

I made the animated gifs by hand using Photoshop, but I'll investigate how feasible it would be as I agree it would be a nice feature.
